Restorative
Only Connect recognises the dignity and significance of every individual. We believe that everyone is capable of change and everyone has the potential for social responsibility and personal fulfilment. We want our members to achieve total restoration, both practically and emotionally - the prose and the passion - and to assist others to do the same.
Relational
Only Connect believes that each individual finds restoration in belonging to a healthy community. We work to strengthen members' family relationships and to create a positive and diverse social network at Only Connect. We want our resettlement work with each member to become redundant, as individuals become independent; we want to remain in relationship with all our members forever.
Responsible
Only Connect is accountable to trustees and supporters who expect financial and operational responsibility. We carefully steward the resources we have been trusted with and we observe good management practice, including accurate evaluation of our work. We believe in our team and we are good to them.
Christ-founded
Only Connect is founded in the Christian faith and we seek to live out Christian teachings in our work. We believe that everyone has need of spiritual fulfilment and we offer members the support of our own spiritual tradition. We do not choose our members on the basis of their beliefs and we are open to everyone of any faith or none at all.
