Only Connect is more than an arts company and resettlement charity. We are a community of people from different places and with different histories - including ex-offenders - who work together to stop crime and restore lives.

Born Leaders

Only Connect members are partly selected for their potential as leaders. The "Born Leaders" programme develops this potential using methods derived from military training models. The programme is designed to create a team of effective crime-fighters for London: ex-offenders with the skills to inspire and lead younger people away from crime.

In July 2008 Only Connect, in conjunction with adventure training company Events and Activities, delivered Operation Loch Tay: a four-day endurance challenge in the Scottish Highlands led by Only Connect members in charge of 25 teenage boys from Haringey and Hackney. Soul Sessions

Only Connect hosts weekly evening events at Cubitt Street for our supporters, our clients and their families. These involve soul and gospel music, a meal and a discussion on a spiritual or ethical topic.

Families

Only Connect believes that clients' families are just as vital to their future as housing and employment. We welcome parents, partners and children to our events, workshops and weekly Soul Sessions, and help serving prisoners stay in touch with their families on the outside.
